Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information TechByte Studios collects through this website and our service engagements, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Last updated: July 9, 2026

1. Introduction

TechByte Studios ("TechByte Studios", "we", "us", or "our") provides custom software development, business automation, cloud infrastructure, IoT engineering, and self-service printing systems to businesses across Pakistan. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit our website at www.techbytestudios.com (the "Site"), interact with our forms, or engage us for services.

We built this policy to be plain and specific rather than generic boilerplate. Please read it carefully. By using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the practices described here. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, we ask that you refrain from submitting personal information through the Site and contact us instead using the details in Section 10.

This is a demonstration environment used to showcase our design and development capabilities for prospective merchant and payment-gateway partners. No live transactions, live payment processing, or production customer accounts exist on this Site. Where this policy refers to our commercial practices, it reflects how a production deployment of this website would operate.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in a small number of clearly defined ways, and we deliberately keep the scope of collection narrow. The categories below cover everything the Site is capable of gathering.

Contact and enquiry information. When you submit our contact form, request a quote, or otherwise write to us, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, company name, and the content of your message. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare a proposal or quotation for services.

Browsing and technical data. Like most websites, our Site's hosting and analytics infrastructure may automatically log standard technical information when you visit, such as your browser type, device type, approximate location derived from IP address, referring page, pages viewed, and time spent on the Site. This information helps us understand how visitors use the Site and identify technical issues.

Cookie and local storage data. We use a small number of cookies and browser local-storage flags for functional purposes, described in Section 4.

No payment or card data is ever collected. This is important: because this Site is a demonstration environment with no live checkout, we do not collect, transmit, process, or store any payment card numbers, card verification values (CVV), bank account details, or other financial instrument data through this website. Any checkout or payment-style screens you may encounter on this Site are illustrative only and do not connect to a real payment processor, bank, or gateway. Should TechByte Studios operate a live commercial storefront in the future, payment information would be handled exclusively by a licensed, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway partner, and would never be collected, transmitted, or stored on our own servers.

3. How We Use Information

We use the limited information we collect for the following purposes only:

  • To respond to enquiries submitted through our contact form and prepare service proposals or quotations;
  • To communicate with existing and prospective clients about ongoing or requested engagements;
  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site's performance and usability;
  • To understand aggregate visitor trends so we can prioritise content and features that are genuinely useful;
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations and to protect the rights, property, and safety of TechByte Studios, our clients, and the public.

We do not use the information collected through this Site for automated profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not sell personal information to third parties.

4. Cookies

This Site uses a minimal set of cookies and a single browser local-storage flag. A short notice banner appears on your first visit to make this transparent; once you acknowledge it, a flag named tb_cookie_ack is stored in your browser's local storage so the notice does not reappear on future visits. No personal data is contained in this flag, and it never leaves your browser.

We do not currently deploy third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this Site. Should that change in the future — for example, through the addition of analytics tooling — we will update this section and, where required by law, seek your consent before doing so. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through their settings; doing so should not materially affect your ability to browse the Site, though the cookie notice may reappear on each visit.

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We may share information collected through the Site in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers. We may rely on trusted infrastructure providers — such as web hosting, email delivery, and analytics vendors — to operate the Site. These providers act on our behalf and are only granted the access necessary to perform their function.
  • Legal compliance. We may disclose information where required to comply with a legal obligation, enforce our Terms & Conditions, or protect the rights, property, or safety of TechByte Studios, our clients, or others.
  • Business transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to equivalent confidentiality commitments.

We do not share contact or enquiry information with third-party marketing partners, and we do not permit any service provider to use your information for their own independent purposes.

6. Data Security

We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include restricting access to enquiry data to personnel who need it to respond to you, using secure connections for data submitted through our forms, and reviewing our infrastructure configuration periodically.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have reason to believe your interaction with the Site is no longer secure, please contact us immediately using the details in Section 10 so we can investigate.

7. User Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding the personal information we hold about you, including the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, and the right to object to or restrict certain processing. Because the only personal information we typically hold is the content of enquiries you have voluntarily submitted, most requests can be resolved quickly.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 10. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and may ask you to verify your identity before actioning a request, to protect against fraudulent claims.

8. Children's Privacy

This Site and our services are directed at businesses and professional users, and are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
